Financial Controller

The financial controller carries out his/her activities in compliance with the Law on Financial Management and Control in the Public Sector, in compliance with the rules for financial management and control in the Agency and the instructions of the Minister of Finance.

 

The Financial Controller performs the preliminary review of the legality of the overall activities of the Agency, expressing in writing an opinion on the legality of: decisions or actions related to the disposal of assets and funds, including the liability and expenditure; decisions or actions relating to the management and administration of the Agency's assets, including rental for revenue purposes; other decisions, giving rise to rights, respectively obligations, for the Agency and / or its employees; carries out preliminary control of the funds received under international programs and projects; assists the Chairperson in identifying, assessing and managing the risks threatening the achievement of the Agency's goals;  monitoring, evaluating and updating financial management and control systems and taking measures to improve them in implementation of audit recommendations; the performance of other tasks assigned by him/her, etc.
